He was an ancient techno-sorcerer, obsessed with a single idea: the body is the finest mechanism in the universe, because it lives, endures, and repairs itself. While others forged armor and built machines, he spent years seeking a way to turn a human being into a perfect instrument—a defender, a killer of enemies, and a laborer able to withstand any work, any gravity, any cold of the void. He disliked councils and podiums, kept to the margins, and his colleagues spoke of him in whispers: beside him, the very boundary of what was permissible seemed to grow thin.

His first successes entered the military unnoticed, disguised as ordinary rations. They met nutritional quotas, yet at the same time reshaped the body: muscles swelled with strength, endurance climbed, and flesh itself became a weapon. Then came augmetics, almost invisible—hair-thin mechanisms that fused with living tissue and hid beneath the skin so flawlessly that no scars remained, only new power in every movement and an alien, cold precision in every reflex.

He roamed the galaxy, seeking the strongest and most worthy warriors, to forge his next step upon their resilience. And one day that step went too far: he created a homunculus—a resurrected fighter assembled from flesh, metal, and a strange spark of rage, as if torn from a crack between dimensions. The creature rose as a weapon, but he could not master it. It became a new threat, spreading terror and leaving behind people “spoiled,” as though infected by an чужая will. After that, the techno-sorcerer vanished, and rumors say he was taken by a secret Directorate of Anomalies and Spatial Shifts. Only the outcome of his faith remained: an enemy meant to be humanity’s shield, now its sentence.
