Adronark is a kingdom shot through with magic and a web of portal “doors,” where power belongs to the Grand Solar Council - elected sorcerers from different peoples. Here, brutal barbarian deserts steeped in bestial magic stand alongside humid jungle lands of merchant-sages, the free southern realms of knights and adventurers, and the bleak north with ancient burial mounds of the Host of Death. All are united by the Solar Source - a sacred pantheon from which a stream of pure magic surges into the sky. It is guarded by Paladins of Light, and augurs, able to glimpse the future, aid the Council.

But a new threat looms over the kingdom: a powerful necromancer and his undead army are stealing magic. The Source is fading, balance is collapsing - and doom becomes shared by all peoples. At the heart of the catastrophe stands a band of heroes. They must unite, journey into the mountains, find the necromancer’s mausoleum, and challenge evil in its very lair.
